I am currently at the Lyles School of Civil Engineering, Purdue University working in the area of Hydrology and Hydraulics. My Ph.D. research focuses on drought assessment using statistical models to reveal the potential risk of a region under evolving climate. My other research interests include topics such as extreme hydrologic events, statistical hydrology, climate change, water quality, watershed health, risk-based analyses, designing decision support tools, and application of Machine Learning to address water resources problems.
A little background about me: I completed my undergraduate degree at National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, India in 2006. I then worked as a software engineer at Tata Consultancy Services for little over two years. I got my Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN) in 2011 and continued there for a Ph.D.
